Colorsets in Multi user

Hi all;

Flashback in time: I have a multi user Foxpro2.6 Dos app running on a
win98 network.
I create a new color set and save it.
When other users are logged in, the colorset can't be loaded.
Any ideas?

AK,
Colorsets are stored in the resource file (FOXUSER.DBF). The resource file is opened EXCLUSIVE (at least until VFP 7.0), and so if your users are trying to share a FOXUSER, then only one will be able to use the program at a time, or if the FU file is stored locally (my usual way of doing it), then only that system will be able to see it.

As I remember, you may be able to set the FOXUSER files to be read only.
