The last news from the website date from 2004!
http://www.codebase.com/news/news.php

Is there a way to get a list of all field type supported by their file
structure? I didn't find anything on their website.

If the product is dead why don't they give it to community?

I think you can still buy it - you buy the complete source code so can
maintain it yourself.

I don't beleive it's dead, but probably no longer worth major
development. After all, it adresses mainly a legacy database market.
Still usable in new applications, but probably only when the programmer
has routine experience that he can build on, and forget about adjusting
to a new database tool that has many features he does not yet need.

But I believe there is still live support at CodeBase. At least I got
support when I needed it some years ago.
