Default Fundamentals of Database Systems, 4e - 10-16-2003 , 01:07 AM

I would like to use the textbook "Fundamentals of Database Systems,
4e" by Ramez Elmasri and Shamkant Navathe for self study. If anyone
is willing to email me a copy of the solution manual to this textbook,
I would be most appreciative.

I am an Adjunct Instructor and use this text. There is no solution manual.
Solutions are available on a secure web site that is only available to
educators, and no, you can't use my ID. The text is very good, but not great
for self-study.

Call the publisher and ask about getting the solution manual for
self study with the textbook -- you might be able to get paper to
fill out.

Thanks. Take care, Brian Inglis Calgary, Alberta, Canada

I already tried that route. As with most textbooks, the publisher
will not release the solution manual to anyone other than the
instructor teaching a course where the textbook has been adopted.

Any suggestions of database design textbooks appropriate for self
study would also be appreciated.

I just found out that my email account with hotmail will not accept
large attachment files. If you are interested in sending me any
files, please send me a message to the above email and I will respond
with an alternate email address that will accept large attachment
files.

I keep telling you, THERE IS NO SOLUTION MANUAL, only a web site. It's a
great book, but not meant for self-study.

OK. If anyone with access to the online solutions website for this
book would be willing to share their access, I would be most
appreciative. Please email me the necessary information to access
this web site to the above email address. Thanks.
