I am just migratin to 12.5 .
Is there a filesize limtit as in 2gb ?

It may depend on the platform.

Current (12.5.0.3, 12.5.1 and later) ASE will handle devices up to 32GB
on all the platforms that I know about. Earlier versions were limited to
2GB per device on linux, while most other Unix platforms have supported
large devices for quite some time now.
