Adding another 4GB RAM ( Total 8GB ) to improve performance. Sybase
12.5 2 dataserver on HP-UX ( 2 nodes ). My questions about
reconfiguration of memory :

0- Need list of suggested configuration change in order to take
advantage of the extra 4GB of memory?

1- How can I tranfer the whole tempDB to RAM ( we add another 4G RAM ,
total 8G now )

2- we have cache search misses issue with high number of engine
context switches.How can we improve that?

3- For increasing the total sybase memory do I have to do:

sp_configure 'Total memeory', 6GB

it has two engines and two nodes


4- How can I increase name cache memory?
