Dear All, I recently got job to maintain old 2000 server where I came across our old accounting software based on sybase version 5.5, As per my knowledge we are running windows 2000 server and sybase sql anywhere network server 5.5.04, The clients are connecting with it having same sybase 5.5 clients version. Now my first question is that i want to SAVE CONFIGURATION inside SYBASE CENTRAL, when i open SYBASE CENTRAL& connect, it shows Account computer icon inside it and drop down list have statistics and two three of our databases. How can I save all configuration inside it for tables, views, procedures, users, sql remote etc. Second question is that I want to see error logs for sybase sql anywhere network server because one of our database became very slow and I doubt that somewhere replication is missing for that database.Even I have translated .sql file but still dnt know how to read .log file. Third thing i want to know is that we have powerbuilder6 on server by which I can open files, but can I use powerbuilder 11 or 12 also because I want to improve this database. If someone can help me with any of the above or point towards right direction or any helpful tool, I will be thankful. Regards, It would be best to post your question to |
