This is very strange ... while back I have to re create master db and since then every time the ASE is re started tempdb looses is permissions... I don't know why? |

This is very strange ... while back I have to re create master db and since then every time the ASE is re started tempdb looses is permissions... I don't know why? this is sybase version 12.0 on solaris 5.8 does any one know how can I fix this problem permently? is there a way ??? any help would be appreciated Thanks Maria |

Permissions on the tempdb devices? User permissions within tempdb? It may have been that you had some user permissions set up within the model database, so that tempdb had them every time it was created. When you rebuild the master database, did you rebuild the entire master device (and thus also model), or was it really just the master database you rebuilt? -bret |
