What's the lastest version of ASE? Is it 12.5.0 or 12.5.1 or higher?
Does Sybase help you tune your index and SQL statements (= modify how
you index and your SQL statements to achieve a better performance)? If
so, does it provide this feature in GUI?

The latest version is 12.5.2. Since 12.5.0.3, there are some interesting new
features that can help to identify the efficiency of indexes (this feature
is known as the 'MDA tables', and a lot more that can be said about it; see
www.sypron.nl/mda). There's currently no GUI for this though.
