Default Remember APT? Are there APT manuals available anywhere? - 07-12-2004 , 11:16 AM

I am currently maintaining a system where the front end to the Sybase
database
is written in APT, the old and no longer supported text based windowing
front end produced by Sybase way back when.

I was familiar with APT about 6-7 years ago, but I'm a bit hazy on it now.
The
company I am in does not have any APT manuals.

Are these available in PDF format anywhere? Or are there dead tree editions
floating around out there?

Tom.

Doing a search on 'APT' in Product Manuals brings up about 1,000 hits.
Searching on 'APT Workbench' in Product Manuals brings up about 130 hits
(~1,000 hits if you search only on 'APT').

You may be able to piece together bits and pieces from the various
links/hits??

For example:

http://manuals.sybase.com/onlinebook...BookView/14706
http://manuals.sybase.com/onlinebook...__BookView/849

Have you tried calling 1-800-SYBASE to see if they can scrounge up any old
docs or see if they have any ideas?

Thanks Mark, but I am based in Ireland and Sybase Ireland sold their
franchise a
few years ago. I'm not sure if the current franchise holder is that helpful.

Tom.
