WinCC does use #'s as a separator character in it's table names.
However the . has come from your tagname.

You have the ability to change the archive tag name from the original
tag name so it's usual to change the . (usually present if you are
logging a structure tag element) when creating the archives.

If it is the period and not the hash that is causing the problem with
the JDBC driver you can try creating a new archive tag logging the
same point but changing the archive tag name to remove the period.
This will prevent it from appearing in the table name
