Hi all, I'd like to know if loading a dump from a Solaris box (64 bit Sparc, running 12.5.0) can be loaded onto a box running Linux (32 bit Intel) both using 4bit pages? |

No, not at the moment. This capability is apparently being worked on, and should be available either later this year, or early next year. In the meantime you can use the sybmigrate tool, or write an ad-hoc bcp out/bcp in script. Michael |

Michael What is it exactly in a dump from an 32-bit ASE on 64-bit Solaris that prevents it from being loaded onto a 32-bit ASE on Linux, even if the disk allocations are similar ? |
