Default linux ASE 12.5.1 segfaults using glibc 2.3? - 06-02-2004 , 12:44 PM

Hi,
I updated a Java Desktop System laptop (SUSE-derivation) that had
a running ASE instance (developer eval download) and glibc 2.2 to glibc
2.3, and now I'm getting segfaults when trying to run dataserver. Are
there any workarounds (like putting libc and libm from 2.2 somewhere else
in the ldd chain) or patches for this?

Cheers,
- Matt

Make sure that your glibc is built for the i686 architecture.
And make sure that you have a *recent* version of glibc 2.3.2 or 2.3.3
