Default How to switch an MSA replication database correctly? - 05-21-2010 , 04:05 PM

Since it's an MSA, "switch active" command is not applicable.

I understand that I can trace the DSIs to see the number of active segments
(which is a simple call against RSSD), but since there is no more "admin
quiesce" in REP 15, how can I insure there are no messages in any of the
queues left?

I mean, running an "admin sqm" report and parsing it is a pain, since it's
not really formatted.

I'm trying to create a switch script, but so far it looks like I can't fully
automate it, so the queues are truly drained.

Is there a good procedure to switch active/passive database(s) in an MSA
environment?
