Default How to open a db file - 09-15-2010 , 04:02 AM

Hi to everyone,
a customer of mine needs to convert a sybase database file to an MS
Access file, but he don't know the userId and the password to log in.
And i don't know sybase software.
Anyone could help me to reach and extract the data?
Thank you

I think the easiest thing is to reset the adminstrator password on the
database and then extract the data. Some info on password resets is
here http://www.tek-tips.com/faqs.cfm?fid=3565, though I have not
tried the instructions. I'm sure Google will be able to help you
there.

Call Sybase. If you can prove ownership of the data, they can usually
help.
