Default Eval license for ASE_JAVA? - 04-12-2004 , 01:06 PM

Anyone ever get one of these? Where did you ask for it? It doesn't
seem to be included in ASE_DEV.

The Developer's Edition will enable Java as well as just about all other
options. You do have to enable java through an sp_configure command.

Are you getting an error message?

Configuration parameter 'enable java' can not be enabled without license
'ASE_JAVA'.

Check if the ASE_DEV license key is properly added to the license file.

When you first start the server there should be a line written to the
errorlog that indicates what kind of license it has. It should say that
it has a developer license.
