Hi, I was given a Sybase database (running on a Solaris system) and was told to make my application "talk" to it. I know how to communicate with SQL Server using ADO.NET from my C# application. What do I need to get (or buy) to use C# and ADO.NET to talk to Sybase? Can I "browse" the Sybase database just like I do with SQL Server through the "Server Explorer" in Visual Studio .NET 2003? Thanks! John |

Erm.... how about an odbc driver for Sybase???? If you are licenced, then you will be able to use ODBC. You do know how to use ODBC, don't you? You just put your finger in the hole and make little circles.... ;-) Steve On 28 Jan 2004 12:01:24 -0800, johnfofawn (AT) hotmail (DOT) com (John) wrote: Hi, I was given a Sybase database (running on a Solaris system) and was told to make my application "talk" to it.
