We have Sybase 11.0.2 Installation on SGI IRIX 6.2.
Mirroring the master device is failing since PUBS2 db is corrupted.
I am new to Sybase. Is there any way to overcome this problem?
Can I drop pubs2 db. Will it hv any effect on the Sybase?

pubs2 is a demo database. Documentation examples are often written against
the tables in pubs2. It is not necessary for Sybase to function correctly.
It can be dropped. In $SYBASE/scripts/installpubs2 are SQL to recreate the
pubs2 database.
