Description:

Sybase database server and Sybase Replication Server in Production, UAT, development and Contingency environments.
6 years experience in Database Administration of Sybase ASE 11.9.2, 12.5.
3-4 yrs experience in Administration of Sybase Replication Server 11.5, 12.x.
Oracle database server in development - 2 years experience in database administration of Oracle 8i/9i
Excellent C-Shell & Bourne-Shell scripting knowledge. Working knowledge on Solaris 2.8
Manage database build environments and database release migration process.
Understand data replication concepts, distributed architecture, and logical and physical database concepts and tradeoffs.
Manage Application server components which depend on: Sybase Open Client/Server; IBM Websphere and MQ Series. - 3 years experience in administration of Websphere environments.
Communicate and work closely with the support team and projects team on performance issues and design issues.
Requires strong partnership with both development, QA, production operate teams, and third party providers.
