DB version : Sybase 8.0
In house application.

We are going to change server location. We found that base on testing
server result, the network round trip delay from 1ms to 40ms.

Base on 100MB bandwidth network

In site testing, the longer process time function just about 10 sec
using test server over the network, the process time for same task
changed to 198 sec. the network loading averge about 1.8k , the peak
is 2M.

Does our inhouse application poor design or Sybase 8.0 problem ?
