I'm now developing the applicaiton using EJB and wanna mapping the
entity beans to DBMS . I wonder whether ASE V12.5 or above is
supporting Object-Oriented object-relational entities and function ,
compare to DB2 and Oracle.
Moreover , Could it do the following tasks without stop/shutdown DBMS
;Table Reoranization , Index Creation , Backup and Recovery.

Yes. Those actions have never required server restart with Sybase.
