Welcome,
Is there any possibility to replace java functions in ASE by "something
else"?
I'd like to install ASE Express Edition but it doesn't support java?
Any suggestion? |
As Anthony says - there's nothing else that you can run directly in the
server (i.e. there is no plugin architecture that you could build on).
For a lot of these things you could use stored procedures, or you could
use the XP server and code some functionality there. It won't really be
usable in-line, although in some cases you can play tricks by using
proxy-tables and CIS to map an RPC call to a table, and use that in a
join/query.
