I would like to go for Adaptive Server Enterprise 12.5.2 SQL Developer
Associate certification (510-410).
Can anybody explain Histograms and partition , I went through the
manuals but still not very clear with concept.

The Sybase manuals are not too bad for Partitions, best to try that
first, then ask specific questions. Most people here are not willing
to write essays.

The Sybase manuals are hopeless for Statistics & Histograms. Here is
a doc to get you started. You can ignore the Catalogue section, since
you won't be writing code to interrogate it. Then ask specific
questions. It is a Draft, not quite finished, so there may be minor
errors, but not technical ones.
