hi all!
i'm configuring cis properties on
sybase 12.0/digital unix 4.0/dec alpha 4100.
i do as the sybooks cis guide said.and
i can now see the data on a remote server table from within my local
server.but when i try to delete or insert i recieved message 5629 which
confused me:
Cannot start a remote distributed transaction participant as the local
server is
not named. Please contact a user with System Administrator role.
to my suprise,i can truncate it!!!
can anybody lend me a hand?
