Hi Jan-Erik,

Do you mean Peter Jackson's Bug Check Summarizer?

If it isn't at the Oracle Web Site then there should be one in the Rdb list
server archive. (If neither I'll try to find my copy)

Cheers Richard Maher

PS. What are you doing here with me and the tumble-weed? (And how's the Java
comin' along :-)

Hi.
Som time (years ?) ago there was an tool (COM file)
to extract "interesting" info from Rdb bugchecks.

I have been looking around but could not find it today.

Anyone knows if it still exists and if so, where it
can be found ?

Best Regards,
Jan-Erik Söderholm

Hi Jan-Erik,

Peter is one of the English Oracle support guys, author of that DCL, and a
nice bloke. I'm sure he won't mind if you mail him directly. This is the
last mail I have about it from the listserver: -

October 2006 changes

* MORE option added.
* More stack information reported for some dumps.
* More detail reported for SQL-F-BUGCHK errors.
* File information reported for CANTWRITEDBS errors.

Peter

PS. Speaking of things English, did you see the Aussies take a dive
(tacticle loss) against the Poms? Hansie-Conyer (sp?) all over again? And
just because the KIWIs pointed out some home truths :-(

Yes, I probably do... :-)

Googled on Peter Jackson but only got a lot of references
to someone called Goolum and som mysterious ring... :-)

OK, found a few ref's to the tool, but could not get it.
The Metalink note "165466.1" seems to old !? That entry was
from 2004 b.t.w.

Best Regards,
Jan-Erik.
