I'm playing a bit with JSP, JDBC and Rdb and run into a problem:

How do I get more than 1024 Character in via JDBC-Insert into a database field?
Literal strings are restricted to 1024 Byte, aht least with the rdbthin driver.
Will rdbnative do it for me? (rdbnative requires sqlsrv running, right?)

you best bet will probably be to contact oracle rdb support
directly with questions like this. you could also join and
post to the rdb list server at www.jcc.com.
