Default check numeric - 03-17-2005 , 07:18 AM

Hello,
In Open-VMS,
In SQL (RMS database) :
How can I find that an expression is a numeric one (and has no string
literals) ?
Can I do : when the expression is a numeric one, put zero instead ?

Need sample code (sql), please.

Thanks

This is non-sensical - what do you mean? Rdb and RMS are not the same
thing.

Sounds like you forgot to design your database with datatypes and domains.
