Yes ... promon is the (old) standard monitoring tool for Progress. It's quite fully documented in the Progress Database Admin manual. If you want a REALLY cool monitor you can download "LockMon" from TechSmiths (www.techsmiths.com). It's a package of source code ... plus a bit of documentation. Well worth the trouble of putting it all together ... it's just great !! If you have your own developers then <lockmon> is almost essential -- because it'll find all the nastly things that developers do with locks and transaction scoping. Ron.
