PROGRESS/ LONG TERM CONTRACT/ TORONTO AREA



We have a long term contract for a lead person who has the skills
described below.

This position will allow a limited amount of telecommute work, probably in
the

10%--20% work range. While we will look at people from all areas, Regional

Candidates or those that do not need wkly commutes to far distances will be
given

Preference. The reason for this is that this contract could well last the

This Canadian business is looking for an experienced, contractor with WDSII
and Progress knowledge to be on the front line of support for the Company
for a period of 1 to 5 years. Responsibilities include coordinating the
Company’s team of external professionals, Progress/Unix administration,
developing and programming Progress applications, documenting processes and
procedures, and upgrading the training of users. The candidate will have
years of successful experience with WDSII and Progress programming, Progress
administration, UNIX administration, and a working knowledge of distribution
applications, e.g. order processing, inventory control, and warehousing. For
the perfectly acceptable candidate, contract terms may be flexible and
negotiable within the limitations of the required responsibilities.
