I am new developer on Progress 9.1 in a windows environment. I have
experience
working with SQL server but am new to progress.

I need to produce some monthly and daily reports and can do it with
report builder but would like to automate the process and don't know
how.

As I am new on Progress any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Progress has two main componants. The database (which could be compared to
SQL Server) and the programming language, which has no comparable componant
in SQL Server.

Report Builder is similar to Crystal Reports.

I don't use Report Builder, as it is very limited. I do everything using
Progress 4GL. Your best bet is to find a class. Progress runs them in
Bedford, MA. There are others, too, but I'm close to Bedford, so I went
there.
