Default Inital password - 03-13-2009 , 07:21 AM





Hi,
I have opensuse 11.0 with postgresql installed.
Now I want to login using phpPgAdmin, but I don't now
the initial super user credentials.
Can anyone help me ?

Did you run initdb?
Are the database server processes running (their name is "postgres")?

If yes, you can edit pg_hba.conf to allow local "trust" authentication and reload.
Then you can login without a password with psql and change the password.
