There have been several high profile departures from EDB. Jim Mlodgensky,
the chief database architect, and Mason Sharp, the author of several high
profile PostgreSQL projects, the most notable one is GridSQL, have left
the company. Bruce Momjian, also an EDB employee, has recently strongly
supported the existing fatwa against hints, despite the fact that EDB is
selling hints as one of its killer features. Is EDB in turmoil? Does
anyone have any more information?
