Default How to make a copy of a PG database - 06-04-2005 , 11:45 AM

Hi, I installed PG 7.2 and have a database "foodsvc". I want to make a new
copy - "newfoodsvc". So that I can play with the "newfoodsve" without
making any change to "foodsvc.
How can I do that?
Thank you.
GL

look at the manpages for pg_dump and pg_restore.
