Default how to detect last change - 03-02-2004 , 04:20 AM

Hi,
is some 'technical' way to detect where the last change (i.e. insert or
update or delete) was performed on specified table ?
I know I can write appropriate triggers, but I am interesting in
exploring these informations from postgreSQL guts...

Regards, pajout.
