Not to put too fine a point on it - but it really does seem as though
you good folks in the US need to think outside the box a little. A job
advertised for the NE would mean many things to many people - other
than somewhere in the states. What words would you use to best describe
this extremely common, maybe even habitual, and typically American (US)
behaviour? Inconsiderate? Arrogant? Imperialistic even maybe?

I have to agree with Michael on the topic wording, although I'd be
hipocritical based on my previous ADV posting. NE could mean several
things depending on what part of the US or world you are from. People
try to be short and to the point in subject lines, but sometimes it
can be too short. Everyone is guilty for doing that atleast once or
twice in their posting lives.
Regardless, there are still newbies coming in that aren't aware that
the audience here is international. It's hard to get that across
before someone posts, even with a public FAQ for the newsgroup.
