Hi,
I just downloaded and installed the Universe 10 Trial package for Windows.
I am able to telnet into my UV account but then am left at the promp. I can
view the Voc's and stuff like that. How do I bring up the admin menu? I
need to add some UV accounts. I ahve read documentation and it says to go
to Start/Programs/IBM u2/universe/uvadmin but I do not have that option
there.

Hi Mike,
You'll have to install the client for UV as well. It's also available at
the IBM website
(https://www-927.ibm.com/software/dat...u2techconnect/) under
"trial offers." You should find a bunch of stuff in there, including the
ODBC drivers and the UniAdmin application.

I have found that UniAdmin doesn't work very well on UV10 (although this
newest version may be better). I use the older version of UVAdmin (version
2.0) and it works great.

I have been running UniAdmin on Uv 10 since the first
release of Uv 10. I have yet to have a problem with it.
However, before you install it, be sure that the user it
will be installed under has administrative privileges at
the os level. If not, some of the functions will not
work.
