Default UniData on Win2000. Why do they run all of their services at a 'high' priority? - 11-06-2003 , 02:06 PM

Does anyone know why UniData runs all of their services at a high
priority instead of normal? Services like SMM, SBCS and CLEANUPD?

This is basically a Bozo NoNo and I believe it makes the server
unstable, particularly if you're running multiple versions of UniData.

Is this just an oversight? Did IBM just hike up the priority for
testing and then forget to set it back to Normal?

Tia,
Tom
