Into the fire... We have a prospect (though I do have a history with the Vp-IT) that is running UniData on Aix. They have a MQ server running. Using the underlying AMI, they are attempting to write to the message queue. I'm sure they will want to read from the queue, as well, but I believe the problem they have writing is with how the queue policies were created. They say they can establish a connection to the queue but get errors (no idea at this time as to just exactly what the errors are). The prospect agrees with me that their problems probably are caused by improperly defined policies but do not have the time to chase the issues down - - - enter me. There is a pdf on the UniData interface that is decent enough, but I cannot find any documentation on the AMI respository and the prospect say he has not been able to find any documenation to help him. Has anyone used UniBasic to interface with WebSphere MQ (previously known as MQSeries)? If so, can you point me in the right direction? Or point me to a link to documentation that will assist me in troubleshooting their policy definitions. (I have looked on IBM's site, but that is still a kludge after all these years. Thanks, Marv Most UniData folks are to be found on the U2 mailing list at |
