http://u2ug.org appears unresponsive. However, I posted there on
wednesday and there was other activity, so it hasn't been a week. Not
sure if I saw anything from the list yesterday or not. The archive at
http://www.mail-archive.com/u2-users.../maillist.html
only has postings through Tuesday though.

I tried to post yesterday and was unable to. I saw that u2ug.org was
unresponsive too (and still is). --dawn

Thanks
Symeon.

I have had no emails from the list since Wednesday morning.
Trying to connect to www.u2ug.org also times out with no
error page to explain the failure to connect.

Last post I saw was from Tony Gravagno noon-ish, Dec 5.

Clif Oliver, father of the u2-list, reported the problem to the U2UG
board, on which both Clif & I currently sit. U2UG is the current
custodian of the lists.

I also noticed www.u2ug.org was unavailable.
I know we are in the middle of redoing that web-site, but I don't
think that explains the current outage.

It's midnight here in Califoria, right now. I'll make a couple phone
calls in the morning if things haven't improved.

I agree. It appears to be a couple of problems that have hit at
approximately the same time. (Of course!)

As you pointed out, both www.u2ug.org is non-responsive, and
listserver.u2ug.org is currently NBG.

Rest assured, folks, U2UG is alive and well. We are just having some
technical difficulties.

I only get CDP when I am in my office, and have been out of town for a
couple of weeks. My thanks to Henry K. for the e-mail alerting me to
the issue, also.

Chuck, I'll wait to hear from you about your findings.

Regards,

Clif

Good morning,

www.2u2ug.org is back on the air.
Don't know about listserver yet.
1 down, 1 to go.

let's call it www.U2UG.org, instead.

One 2, not two.

Two Gs, two Us, two periods, three Ws, an R and an O.

( My sons' names are Malcolm and Philip.
When asked how to spell his name, the older one, a man of few words,
says, "Two Ls."
So the younger mimicks him but with typical flare, "Two Ps, Two Is, an
H, and an L."
The usual response either gets: pause pen, pause, look up with blank
stare, pause, focus eyes, "What?" )

So Tony broke it - I know he is a D3 man, but this is a bit extreme

Still down, but there has been some progress. It appears to be some
sort of DNS issue and I'm guessing it will be fixed tomorrow morning.

I'm posting this under the theory that giving bad news is better than
dead silence.
