Default Texmug welcomes Revelation Software to present at May 6th Meeting - 04-27-2010 , 02:07 PM

Thursday May 6th will be our first meeting ever to host Revelation
Software. President Mike R. is flying in for this event and we'd
appreciate a good turnout to hear about the cool tools that they
offer. Revelation has a long history in the MV marketplace. Their
offerings are well respected, and extremely useful.

Some very successful businesses use Revelation software, such as Remax
realtors, and Movie Gallery.

RevSoft President Mike R. will give an overview of the OpenInsight
database toolset - "Developers can work in familiar Basic, English or
Access, but can also create forms, reports, popups and searches
without writing code. If they'd like to write code, we have
capabilities that will knock their socks off."

Learn how OpenInsight's SQL connectors for U2, D3 and other MV
platforms can push multi value data from your back end system into
browser based forms or windows based forms. "OpenInsight has its own
MultiValue database, but with our Connector technology, OpenInsight
can treat Rocket's UniVerse and UniData, TigerLogic's D3, and almost
any flavor of SQL's data as if it was our own, and manipulate
completely using our toolset."

We also want to thank our host Bruce G. of Strategy7 for the use of
his facility, PARTY OFF THE GRID.

I just saw his OpenInsight demo in Seattle. Looks like a great product
and very well priced.
