Default So much for me and high tech - 04-17-2007 , 01:08 PM

Skype tells me the Skypecast is already finished, so I haven't been
able to get in. If others know how, clue me in. I (re)installed
Skype this morning so that I would have it. I'm getting tired of
technology that isn't easy enough for me to figure out right away.
bummer. --dawn

Hi
It is the revenge of the Aussies. We were disappointed at the 4am time slot
for the REAL WORLD so our thoughts must have blipped it.
I still hope that I can get to hear it because Charles is a great presenter.
I have thoroughly enjoyed his humorous presentations of intelligent subjects
at Spectrum.

I did eventually get in and caught most of it. It sounds like there
was a Skype blip that it dropped the meeting. Then you couldn't use
the same URL to get into it when it was reestablished.

It said there were 12 people in at one point so others got in (most
before I did). I thought it was good information and good to take a
"sales person" angle for a few minutes. Since I missed the start, I'm
going to try to remember to come in on Sunday too, figuring that Chuck
and Skype will have it all figured out to run smoothly then, knock on
wood. cheers! --dawn
