Why would a 'Q' pointer need resizing? Does Shaun mean resizing the Master
Dictionary which in some implementations has a 'data' portion represented by
a Q pointer? If yes, then the Q pointer is not your problem, it's the
'dict' portion of the Master Dictionary (again...what MV version, on what
hardware?)

To wit, on some versions you would change the value of attribute 13 (or is
it 12) in the dict reference of the MD in the System file - or DM - (make
this number larger than whatever is in attr 3 - prime numbers are good but
not really required), it may also need to be contained in parenthesis, check
your documentation on file resizing. Then Save/Restore (using virtual tape
if possible) and presto, your MD is resized.

OK...If you noticed I showed you the dictionary item of my MD it is
just a Q pointer. I can not find were it is pointing to.

I usually do change it in line 13 in the dictionary of whatever file I
am resizing, but like I said this is just a Q pointer

Shaun:

If you are running D3NT I don't know how to resize the (MD) in the FSI. If
using the VME, or running D3Linux try logging onto the "DM" account and
execute the following:

RESIZE TheAccountName,, 101

This should do the trick. Hope this helps.
