What are the chances of all (some?) of the old articles from PICKWORLD
(and DIMENSIONS etc.) being available on the web?

Mike.

Ah yes, PickWorld. I remember hanging out at a popular bookstore back
in the day and being stunned when I saw copies of PickWorld magazine
racked up right in the same section as PCWorld, Wired, etc. I thought
WOW, maybe Pick is on it's way to becoming common/mainstream, well
recognized in the world at large. But, it was a brief dream. PickWorld
was only on the stands for a couple of months.

I loved all those tech articles in PickWorld, Spectrum.

I actually still have about twenty of (mostly PickWorld) the magazines in my
store room.
Now that you brought up the subject I will have to dig them out and read
them again.
I had forgotten I had them in storage.

Until recently, I had copies of *every* DIMENSIONS, PICKWORLD, and
SPECTRUM magazine going back to about 1985. After the move to my new
digs, I wanted to have my car in the garage rather than magazines and
other "stuff". So, I closed my eyes and discarded the magazines. My
car is now happy. Too bad all those magazines are now gone -- they
were fun to go through!

JES & Associates has a bunch of archived stuff on their Web site -
thank you Jon Sisk! See <http://www.jes.com>.

I liked the magazine so much I married the Production Manager.

Testimonial or Matrimonial? You decide...

Default Pick User Digest - 10-23-2003 , 04:11 PM

I was checking and I found that I have 15 issues from Pick User Digest that
I hadn't looked at in years. Is anyone interested in them?

I have all or most of the Pick World, Spectrum, and Dimensions magazines
dating back to the early 90's. I am following Dave Weaver's lead and down
sizing, so I would to happy to lighten the load. It would be a shame to
trash them (of course we recycle). I can ship them to Henry. Let me know
which issues / years you need to save on freight charges from California.
