Default Redback Permissions Error - 08-30-2005 , 08:05 AM

13:22:40 Aug 29 2005 0 Unable to create child process
d:\davison\unidata\bin\\udtsort -u -r -o c:\temp\a05608 c:\temp\a05608

We are getting this strange error message on Windows 2003 server
running Unidata and Redback 4.1.2.3.

It seems to be a permissions error.

Any ideas ?

I'm not a linux guy by any means, but just off the top of my head I would
say the error is because you have two slashes where there should only be
one - between the "bin" and "udtsort"

Just a thought....

Dave,

It also helps not being a Linux guy when thy are running on Win2003 :-)

Will be interesting to see if the double slashe were simply a typo ....
but hopefully you nailed it !

I think the lowest version certified to run on Win2003 is 4.2.3. You could
run the Gateway portion on RB 4.1.2.3 on Win2003, but the RB Server has to
be version 4.2.3 on Win2003.
