What on earth is WinSCP?
Also if it is free why would you risk it on a client site?

WinSCP is no more and no less than FTP with some gilding of the lily. So it
has about as much age as you and your partner - and several other of us -
have MV experience. It's useful, but IMHO no more so than FTP itself.

Oh, that's precious.

I saw this and for a moment I honestly wanted to pay someone for the
entertainment.

Hi Bob
Thanks for saving me the time I was going to Google for it as maybe I had
missed something.

Hi
You better start reading the law on responsibility for installations.
Free typically means unsupported and at the whim of some character who will
go and live on a Montana mountain any time soon. Not good commercial
practise.

WinSCP uses ssh, not ftp. Ftp has not been allowed on the gov't site
where I work for many years. It's a program that allows drag and drop
file transfers, is very secure and as fast as the network. I cannot
count on Accuterm file transfers to move all control characters;
WinSCP transfers every byte.
