Also sad. But it's capitalism at its most unfettered. They may be getting
plenty of US resumes, which only shows how &&&-ed up the current situation
in the US is.

As Lincoln said when someone complained about his "not liking how ...
looked", "Every man over 40 is responsible for his looks"...and I don't I
like the Green and Cook's looks! Would you *want* to work for them? Or live
3 miles off shore knowing that "US labor laws don't apply"?

I found the hours interesting.

"The normal working shift will be 10 hours."

They did not mention the number of *shifts* per week .
All of this for almost 22k (American I assume) a year.
Where do I sign up?

Capitalism and democracy may not be so great, but they're a lot better than
what else is out there! Then, of course, there are those who believe they
know everything and all that has come before Them should be forgotten and
all that comes from Them should be obeyed. :-)

You must have missed the "unfettered". I think most would see the problems
caused with any completely unregulated economic system. Ebbers and Co. might
not agree. But then place-head-in-sand might actually be a good philosophy
nowadays!

Let's see... Capitalism = worship of the almighty Dollar;
Democracy = subjugation of the Minority to the will of the
Majority. If those are the best this world's got to offer, then
I'll take pleasure that the sand here is warm and dry.

Democracy. Since it's crafted by humans, a bad form of
government. Unfortunately, it's superior to anything else
available.

Monarchy, now that would be best . The divine right of kings and
all that sounds like a reasonable solution. I don't know if I've
mentioned it before but I do have a crown in my coat of arms. I'm
willing to accept the position, in all humility of course. If
thats not acceptable we'd best leave well enough alone.

Patrick, <;=)

P.S. I am mostly big on *subjugation of the Minority*. After all
many of those folks are a bit off. Unless or course, I am one on
that particular issue. (then I'm a Libertarian)

I'd agree that a benign, autonomous ruler would be better than
our "representative democracy." (I'm posting from California.)
For example, a story broke yesterday that our distinguished
governor, who declines to accept his salary for the position,
is happy to take money ($8 Million) from a bodybuilding magazine.
And, then has the gall to say it's not a conflict of interest!
