Thanks Alberto and Geoff for the responses. Unfortunately the method you both outline doesn't work for me. The synonym with the AN(MFGR.NAME):" ":N(MFGR.PART.NBR) statement in attribute 8 returns two lots of the A;3:'*':4 data from the first part of each of the MFGR.NAME and MFGR.PART.NBR synonyms. It's like the translate to the POD file that occurs in each individual synonym is being lost somewhere in the process of combining them together in a new A correlative. If I try the 2 individual A correlatives on their own they work fine, it's just when I try to concatenate them together in a new A correlative that they stop working. regards John John, |
