Yep, this is a noob question, but it's been a while since I had to deal with DIGI/IBM RAN serial nodes (I worked in UniVerse prior to this gig and mvBase before that and...well, you know!). Server: IBM eServer p5 OS: AIX 5.2 MV Environment: D3 Problem: I've got a bunch of screwed up serial ports. The dumb terminals are, of course (because there haven't been any changes over the weekend and they were all working Friday), set to the right baud, stop bits and parity and so are the serial lines, yet the terminals only responds with garbage, usually symptomatic of wrong serial settings. Something happened over the weekend! Question: Is it possible to reset the 16 port node without rebooting D3 or AIX? TIA -Bruce H |
