Question on FTAPE
Pick 7.2.1 & Linux 2.4.2
ln –s /dev/rft0 /dev/ftape (rw_rw_rw)
From command line linux /dev/ftape correctly operates in the
regime of record and write.
From Pick I can control device and read tape.While trying to
write (account-save )
I receive message : write error onstdout:Invalid argument.Compressed
pseudo-floppy operation failed.
While changing /bin/compress (ln –s /bin/gzip compress, ln –s /bin/
gunzip uncompress I get message
Compress:stdout: Invalid argument.Compressed pseudo-floppy operation
failed
