Default QM and jBase available on DesignBais - 01-24-2007 , 12:55 AM

DesignBais today released QM and jBase ports.

DesignBais on jBase is available for jBase version 3.4 and 4.1 on
Windows.

DesignBais on QM is certified for release 2.4-18. QM release 2.4-14
contained the final patch required to make DesignBais fully functional,
but the port was completed using QM 2-4.18.

Both of these ports are available from our website www.designbais.com >
Testdrive page.

We have also released 4.14 for all other supported platforms.

Enjoy!

Regards

David McLean

I thought DesignBais has been available for jBase for over three years
(http://www.jbase.com/news/archive.html - January 15, 2004)

I assume the indexing in QM was the holdup there ?

QM 2.4-14
This release is mainly to fix a serious bug in alternate key index
scanning.
The VOC now contains an F-type entry named MD as a synonym for VOC to
give better compatibility with other systems.
Shutting down the QMSvc service on Windows systems now force logs out
all QM users on network connections.

I believe the fix required for DesignBais wasn't documented or put
into an official build until just yesterday with 2.4-19:
The LOGTO command now has a RESET option that discards all
active programs, menus, etc at the current command processor level.
This is particularly useful when using LOGTO in a menu.
