In case you don't know, this 1) enters debugger 2/3) shows current data at
R6 (which points to the current instruction in the terminal i/o object 4/5)
sets instruction to zero= kills entire system since all processes, including
debugger, abort on shared illegal instruction. The perils of shared code.

I'll go "Five," if you count the BREAK key:
BREAK, X, <Enter>, 0, <Enter
You can also use "0" in place of "X", to clear the first four bytes of
the TERMIO frame, clobbering the first entry point. That's what makes
this one so dangerous - there are probably a lot of situations where a
data entry op might enter 0<enter>0<enter> - all they need is the
<break> or an abort condition to get them started.

Hi
How come we all watch the same TV shows?

Because commercial TV is a wasteland to anybody with half a brain. And I
have exactly half a brain.
We found the other half under a desk back in the early '80s... It's in
the fridge at Ultimate... Looked brand new... Never been used.... <g>

Take my advice. Don't use that fridge to store beer unless you want to
go thirsty.

What is the minimum # of keystrokes to crash a PVA Pick system frmo TCL (or
any non-Basic input)?

Interesting question. I wish I knew what PVA meant. I recall bringing one down accidentally by accidently typing...
<break>
(the computer responded with...
!
i typed / <enter>
(i got something like....
gibberish =
and i typed . <enter>

It seemed really mess up the input handler and i'm glad no one was looking over my shoulder.

One of my co-workers gleefully showed me on a Reality 4700 we were about to take out of service a trick that was mind blowing...
hey hit break..... and typed in
!x.sysbase;1
and then typed in .0

ah well, war stories... lol
